in ref to what sway said earlier - of course you can enter a hospital and be treated. but is it really fair that you'll have to spend the time 30 years paying that bill off? it just contributes to a cycle of poverty...

I dunno, where I worked we used to share, but not daily. We'd go out every couple of months and eat/drink etc.

all waitresses deserve tips, in the us at least. just by virtue of the fact that they get paid less than $3 an hour.

i can understand some places doing this though. theres a local pizza joint here that does that...and all there staff is badass. ALL OF EM. and IVP gets badass business. they are doing well splitting their tips. i dont know a single soul that doesnt seem to enjoy working there.

The waitresses are sweet, and I prefer the table service there to having to queue in front of a counter a la McDonalds. Most of them are students, and they always have time for a brief chat with you when they're not busy. :)

no, they deserve better wages. Make the company pay for it, don't make the customer pay double/%%.
