ha ha, not quite-- the "nervousness" is caused by two parts of the brain battling each other-- yes, there's the excitement, but there's also the inhibition of acting civilized with a stranger, which causes great clumsiness and stupidity and a kind of "ah-duh-duh-duh" speech pattern, and much fumbling, and accidents. yes, yes, i'm not "mr. cool".
