a) sex - don't rule out vibrators, dolls or porno

b) a professional massage - someone you pay to work your muscles over minimum is 1 hour maximum 2 hours or 1 whole day at the Spa with all the goodies

c) definitely a vacation - as simple as a day at the beach, a hike up a mountain or an amusement park those are short term fixes obviously the long term fix is a place you've never been

_slavo_ 09.14.2010 03:39 PM

I'd get depressed if my vacation was limited to an amusement park visit.

knox 09.14.2010 03:42 PM

well i'm kind of allergic to porn so that won't do.
sex i'll do whenever there's some free time (yeah, it's that sad)

now on massages. GOD. There is something that irritates me so much about strangers touching me, but I did get a massage ONCE. And I ended up in the hospital 12 hs later taking some morphine based shit because my back was THAT fucked. It was really, really painful. So I'm kind of traumatised.

I vomit whenever I spin so amusement parks are not for me.

It's odd my only idea of fun now is drinking champagne and having someone read poetry out loud to me.

But my friends wanna go to the beach, I might try that, I haven't seen a beach in years. I think it'll be more about beer and not so much about poetry, but might be nice.

One of my friends always suggests a random road trip with no destination for a few days, it sounds like an awesome idea but doesn't seem to be feasible when you have to work.

THISSSSSSSSSSSSS

road trips are fantastic. I just wish I'm able to stay for more than 2 days....fucking work. I need to do another one. Driving is the only time when I'm at total peace. I love it.

road trips rule

slavo, yr vacations involve trips to Korea and shit! an amusement park is cheap bananas compared to that shit!

exactly. i'm lucky if i get two days off even.
and i can't drive, so i guess that'd be kind of unfair on my friend?
she does enjoy driving tho.

i know i know, i sounded like a dick. but i remember being in the US in a family that I lived with, and for them it was the greatest honor to take me to a damn amusement park on my highly anticipated day off (that I could otherwise spend shopping for records or just looking at the wall with a can of beer in my hand). what a DULL day that was !
nothing against them, of course. they're the nicest family in Baltimore, for sure.

Rob Instigator 09.14.2010 03:58 PM

You have to REALLY be in the mood for an amusement park.

_slavo_ 09.14.2010 04:01 PM

one of the few truly american ways of family entertainment, isn't it?

Rob Instigator 09.14.2010 04:04 PM

Blame disney

amusement parks have eben around before Disney but they were just that, PARKS, with maybe a ride or two. Disney turned it into a destination, instead of a nice place to spend a few hours chillin in an afternoon.

everyoe took that shit and ran with it. The huge Six Flags organization that runs like the 25 biggest amuzsement parks in the USA really sucks the money out yr pocket. $40 tix to go somewhere and spend another $50 on sub-par fast-food,a nd bullshit mementos?

I stick to water parks.
more bang for the buck.

too old to ride rollercoasters without getting raging headaches.

No more than anywhere else.

I haven't been to an amusement part since 8th or 9th grade. Thinking about going to Six Flags this Halloween though, maybe.

yeah....they're fun...but I still haven't gone to one in ages. I do like some rollercoasters though...just a hassle to go through a bunch of shit just for a minute of fun.
