pantophobia 10.14.2008 06:58 PM

sometimes they don't like the song, like on Cinderella Kim and Lee hate their parts on it, and others like Sound World is maybe way to complicated for Thurston to bother re-learning

neptuneg 10.14.2008 07:21 PM

They all seem to like Washing Machine as a whole, so hopefully they will bring some stuff back from that.

the bass part doesn't jibe with her tendonitis.

That's a good reason not to play it! I know that for some bass heavy songs though, she's lightened up a bit. Like on 'Cross the Breeze, she used to strum all of the strings really fast during the hardcore part and now she just strums one string.

Magic Wheel Memory 10.14.2008 11:43 PM

I wanna hear some cover tunes combined with original material, such as:

Sweet Shine Alabama
These (Dirty) Boots
I'm Insane in the Membrane
Shine on You Crazy Diamond Sea
Who'll Stop the Rain King?
Turn the Empty Page

Death & the Maiden 10.15.2008 01:06 AM

I don't get why Diamond Sea is considered to be their best song, or in some cases the best song ever. I listened to it today, and the first 7 minutes are alright, but after that I get bored.

mil_pl 12.21.2008 05:41 AM

i just think that i'm not there is awesome, and it would be awesome if they will play it at least one, because it has a lot of changes according to original song.

stu666 12.21.2008 06:02 AM

Well, as long as I don't have to stand through 100%, which was one of my favorite SY songs back in the day, then I'll be fine. I still haven't heard Sunday yet after all these years.

Becuz would obviously be mind blowing....hint hint.

B-side?

lukin 12.27.2008 03:45 PM

Songs I´m dreaming off but no chance of hearing live:
Starpower, On the strip, Peace attack, Brave men run, Unwind,

Songs I want to hear that isn´t impossible that they can put in rotation:
Dirty boots, Diamond sea, Sugar kane, Cotton crown, Tom violence, death valley 69

I think I really cool gesture but the band would be to have some kind of a voting among us fans for wich song we would like them to bring back in rotation, and simply play that on the next tour!

satirejohn 12.29.2008 09:20 PM

Yeah, or at least they could get some inspiration that way... I'm guessing a song like Death Valley '69 would be really popular amongst the fans.. And The Diamond Sea obviously.....

Killthosecops 01.11.2009 10:59 PM

Catholic block
Brave Men Run
Plastic Sun
