good, just finished recording seven songs for a compilation, i really like how they came out.

i've noticed that there's just a few people on my msn that i actually chat really well with, most people are like a couple of sentences back and forth without much enthusiasm, i guess.

i've been having an im for about four hours but it's mostly brief little bits. i'll say something, he replies fifteen minutes later. and my other friend just hasn't answered me but he's probably drunk. fuack.

i talk to everyone on my list and i try to keep it that way. before it was filled with people i don't even like.

mine is still filled with people i don't like, in emo bands and shit, my former band would sometimes play with them and we would organize gigs thru msn, now they have mostly blocked me, i guess, i haven't gotten around to spring clean my list.

i get a little frustrated when people are "so how are you?" *10 minutes later* "fine and you?" *another 10 minutes* "cool" *20 minutes later* "what you up to?" *15 minutes later* "nice talking to you, gotta go, bye"

i usually talk in burst that range from 10 minutes to like 40, average.

i hate that so much. he's gone totally silent but at least our im was stuff about different venues/bands.

there's this emo band from new jersey trying to get a gig at the social i've been exchanging myspace messages with tonight. they're more that kind of blink 182 sound and i guess they're alright for their genre but eh. i did get a promise to party, at least.

two weeks ago, i went to say a friend's bass instructor's band at some club; the first band was a run of the mill emo happy punk band, the second (dude's band) was this tribal nu metal shit (with percussion and everything) with good charlotte as the lead singer, like he was dressed like the dorker in that band, then the final band was this rap/thrash metal band that behaved like a wedding band, urging people to dance and scream and shit. the music was awful, but i had so much fun making fun of them with my friend, it was worth it.

the locust is playing the day i'm playing with bloodyminded (chicago veteran noisers), but we got problems with the venue, it was supposed to be at 6 and then be gone by 10 and the locust show is scheduled to start at 9 but there's three opening bands (2 i understand suck), and the venue i was going to play in was really close to the locust one. but the show has to be moved and we're not sure where.

i really want to see the locust.
