I remember once during a test in science, a dude hopped up on his desk being a dickhead and the fan knocked him out.

well, my english teacher last year was just really cool. he acted more like a kid than a big scary teacher guy.

that is too awesome. last year we had a big paper ball fight (in english, the only class i remember every single day of) and through the window in the door, we could see the principal walking by and we were all yelling "DUDE, SIT DOWN!" and etc. thank god he didn't walk in. the room was a mess.

john- haha. i did that a lot back in seventh grade in my reading teacher's class. to be poetic in my "writing log" i'd just write song lyrics.

I've never done entire songs myself, but it would be funnier if I could. They only allow a certain amount of space on the digital tests, so it's hard.

Jade - Deerhoof sound really interesting! They're like a mixture of Paper Rad and Cibo Matto

Norma J 01.02.2007 01:37 AM

You guys do digital tests?

two years ago in my science class, we had a sub, and during the video we weren't really paying attention and being loud. this kid, one of the class clowns (aka, most of the males in the room) told all of us to put on a surprised face. he went around going "don't laugh, don't laugh" and we thought he'd just do something small, but he had this amazing fake seizure that was the best two minutes of school in my life.

I remember once at school a student got a teacher that upset she ran out of the room cryin. Infact I think that happened a few times where teachers would refused to teach the class again.

I remember once a teacher through me up against the wall because he misterpreted/misunderstood what I was saying to another student. He thought I was bagging him out.

oh god, my gifted class. elementary school, with the kids a grade below us, we were angels. but all throughout middle school, we never had a sub come back for our class more than once. a few braved it twice or three times. i'm sick of all the people now (most) but those were some of the best times.

damn.

My favorite moment of High School was when the the Upright Students Brigade (the singer and drummer of my band plus four other people) ran into my Algebra 2 class in spandex, masks, and nurf guns, ran around for 20 seconds making wierd noises and shooting thier guns and then ran out. The teacher tried to stop one of the guys from getting out the door but he shot her with a nurf gun and she flinched. They ended up getting suspended for a week.

I don't see anyone that I went to school with. I'm quite happy about that. And it will remain that way.

We usually do half of them printed and half of them digital. We have to submit a lot of files during tests, so we're often using our computers. Whenever it's purely theoretical we do written

Jade - haha, that's amazing! It must have been hilarious to see. One of my brothers classmates had to do a video for a french class project, and well...he actually filmed a pornographic video of him and his partner and they talked french throughout the video. The worst part was that there was a school board representative evaluating the class too, so it made the teacher look really bad. Surprisingly enough he only got suspended.

I hope it will be like this for me. Throughout my childhood I hung out with a crowd of people who I can't identify with anymore. And we have been friends since elementary school so it's difficult to just cut off the relationship. There's only two or 3 people from my childhood that I still get along with. I don't like anybody at all from my school other than my friend Eric (littlepuppetboy) and a few of the Liberal Arts students. All the people in my Publication & Design program really don't seem to care about what they're doing and have very conservative, holistic views on the world and art in general.

Awesome! Cibo Matto is a japanese group that used to play with the Plastic Ono Band, and their stuff is beyond diverse. It changes sound drastically from song to song. Paper Rad is an eletronic band that often makes their insturments. My brother's friends with them all and they made one of Lightning Bolt's videos. Actually, if it wasn't for Paper Rad I wouldn't be posting here. In one of their videos they randomly flash "SONIC YOUTH" for no apparent reason and I wanted to know what it was about, so I googled it and loved them.

schizophrenicroom 01.02.2007 01:56 AM

oh, that is rad. (pun! hah!)

soulseek yields nothing, however.

i saw "sonic youth" in teen vogue, but it was just a random caption of this picture of a girl band. but that was yesterday morning.

i like a few people from each different group. i don't like the jocks/cheerleader kind of people, but luckily for me there's not many of them in ib. i have five people i'd call my very close friends, then just.. connected people that i know enough to hang with in class (like band).

That's good that you have 5 dedicated friends. I'd much rather have 5 friends that you can talk on an emotional level to than 100 who you can't. I had a huge group of close friends last year, but I started disliking them because they started stealing from each other (including me), and got hooked on MDMA, and they're like zombies right now, only scene. So I just stick with my friends who I know wouldn't do things like that

schizophrenicroom 01.02.2007 02:03 AM

i can't stand people that act like they have a thousand best friends, but really can't tell you shit about any of them.

i did too. you know how that turned out. the main girl behind it all took this other one to massachusetts to visit her family and ski and drink cocoa, and she ended up leaving a whole week early because she was homesick. it cracked me up. i mean, how rude can you be?

schizophrenicroom 01.02.2007 02:07 AM

ack. my skin is so crappy from forgetting my proactiv/not taking care of it. i look dead.

Really? That is rude. I would never be able to leave my friend hanging like that. One time I was invited to my friend's cottage for a week the few day s after I took a trip down to Toronto with him for 2 weeks, and I wasn't really willing to go, and now I feel bad about it, but it was nowhere near as bad as that.

Oh, here's the paper rad video in case you're interested. It's about 3 minutes, and the very end is one of their more nintendo-inspired songs. Not really a good example of their music though
