hey! how are you?
|
alright! trying to decide if i should stay up all night or if i should go to bed now & wake up at 530. hmmm....
you? how was your weekend? |
up all night.
|
ha ha, i might do that, have a ton of work to finish... and little time to do it!! :o
i wanna go see battles on wednesday ,so i was working all weekend so i can take the day off... maybe i should yeah die in a blaze of glory, and resurrect in time for wednesday. |
doing good, a little tired though, it was a good weekend.
!@#$%!: do you have a reason to wake up early? |
what work do you have to do?
my friend saw battles last week and said they were amazing. if i were you, i'd go. i have to be up early with sean just so he's not alone but meh. not tired. |
ok, it's like this--
i have to finish doing a website before the guy who pays me leaves his job. at 530 am madame !@#$%! wakes up to go do some shots for a movie after dawn. i'm usually in charge of breakfast. then we both have to work our asses off & finish a ton of work if we wanna be free wednesday-- it's a long drive outside of town and we have to spend the night in albuquerque where the show will be. maybe i'll do this kamikaze-style then-- even hit the caffeine, something i haven't done in 2 months! |
ah, i see.
caffeine seems the best bet. i'm relying on it saturday morning (the wee hours) to keep me pumped up. |
i hate it when i'm transparent
|
but this is the funny part-- since i quit drinking caffeine, i'm NEVER TIRED.
with coffee/tea/etc it was always a cycle of hyperactivity & fatigue. hmmm.... maybe i'll stay up a for a whil and sleep for at least 3 hours then wake up again. part of the problem is getting tired at the desk, sitting-- when i work in bed i can stay awake like forever. |
but anyway guys enough of my hamlet-like thought processes-- how were your weekends?
|
every-e- pardon?
!@#$%!- meh, it was ok. i watched pan's labyrinth saturday night. |
Quote:
so, how did you like it? |
nevermind, dear.
i saw and hung out with chicago noise band bloodyminded pretty much all weekend. talked a ton about music and saw them play to mind melting shows in a row. i had a great weekend, actually. |
i missed about half an hour (from :20 to :50) but otherwise i really loved it.
|
Quote:
oh hey, how did the posters work out?? |
Quote:
damn, you hang out with cool people. |
Quote:
you will, too, once you get out of that geriatric hellhole :D |
!@#$%!: the thing i posted here i did because the guys putting the show together took too long to come up with a design so i did it for fun, those guys liked it but did the one they thought about instead.
schizo: well, this weekend, yeah; those guys saw like butthole surfers and swans and flipper back in the day, so it was fun listening to their stories. besides, i'll be hanging out with you at the ddn show in brooklyn, so that will add to my cool people hanging resumé |
i am counting down the days.
haha, just one month until i basically assault every-e with my arm flapping and "O HAY SUP". |
Quote:
asdfg. that's awesome. see my above post :p |
yeah, can't wait for the ackward silence!
"so...ahem...you're every-e?" |
Quote:
you missed 30 minutes??? owwww.... i hope you get to watch it again, complete. Quote:
oh i see... -- ps so everyone is going to the brooklyn show eh? hm... sounds like i'd like to go. but Hellay is closer! |
hahahahaha
i'd probably tell you to skip the show and go see the game. |
then that cues you bringing up a topic and me still giggling insanely.
i jest. i'll be on my a-game. |
meeting boardies in real life is a little awkward. one doesn't always know what to do.
|
cool, i'll try not to be crabby, actually, i probably won't be able too.
i took some pics of me this weekend but i probably won't post them for the whole board as i think i was making some really silly faces. i'm excited seeing the slits open. |
Quote:
haha !@#$%!- true. but still, i'm excited. |
Quote:
i'll either be really nervous and stammering or the opposite. maybe pm them? i'm just excited for everything. thanks to this trip working out, for half of july i won't be in florida. |

que albures!!! Quote:
oh yeah yeah it's cool don't get me wrong. but see when i met kegmama i didnt know if i should hug her or what. in spite of my apparently outgoing persona i am a bit reserved. |
i'm very weird with touch but i'm up for high-fives.
i'm the same. i'm usually pretty loud but i can get deathly shy. |
schizo: i'll probably pm them when i get them, for your own laughing amusement.
so, will you be in town for slint's shows? !@#$%!: yeah, that phrase worked out in more levels than i intended it to; and i'll probably just laugh uncontrollably when i see schizo. |
yay!
i wish i could see them. my friend, the same that got to see battles, is going to the pitchfork fest. the fucker. i would go but i'm in ca. haha, don't laugh at me! |
not at you, if it happens, you'll know how this laughter is.
|
i got you :)
if i see you before you see me i'll be making weird noises. listen out. |
yo, musical people, i need a little suggestion here since i can't think for myself (ha ha).
what music to listen to while i'm working? usually i favor bardo pond, but i have only records, and the turntable is in the living room and im in my office... what should it be, then? i have chichillions of mp3s... throw me an idea. something that calms me & helps me get into the trance of hard labor-- melt-banana would not be a good thing for example (nor the slits). something a little trippy... eh?? ---- PS Quote:
you sound like you're really funny in real life. |
don caballero!!
|
hahahaha, i'll keep my ears open for weird noises.
!@#$%!: try keith fullerton whitman |

haha, i try. |
