setlist back in may was half cassadaga, half older stuff. lua, gold mine gutted, calendar hung itself, something vague, ROAD TO JOY. that was the last song and HOLY SHIT, it was one of the best 15 minutes of my life. both opening bands came out on stage for a jam, and they were throwing flowers and drumsticks in the audience. got in a big pit of sweaty hipsters fighting for a stick. everybody was rocking the percussion instruments and MAN OH MAN. good times.

even though cassadaga is just ok, janet weiss and the orchestra make the songs tolerable.
