Candle epic failed, as did Schizophrenia- Lee forgot how to play the solo in one of the songs and ended up bursting into laughter, which was pretty rad. I also saw him smile when I shouted for 'Free Bird'.

Every boardie I met was great- h8kurdt slept in my hotel room after some turns of events.. Toiled and Bowels was a bit weird, we met him after the show at a chinese takeout across the street. But I met him, so Cantankerous is so jealous of me right now.

You Daydream guys were lucky as fuck......I can't believe they didn't deliver that shit to DC. We and everyone else in the south were kind of screwed.....poor form all and all.

And we up here in the "extreme" North (hehehe Southern Ontario, you know) got shafted too. I would've loved to go to Chicago, but that's way too far and impractical.

Yeah man, Canada too. I realize that they aren't exactly pumped about playing Daydream, but the bank is pretty good so maybe they'll add some dates......even though I doubt it.

I'd be so down to go see them. And so would everyone, erm... in Canada that likes SY. I mean, that album is like, the album that almost everyone can agree on as being totally spectacular. Not to be cliché or anything, but it's true.
I can understand them not wanting to play it a ton, but I mean, while they're doing it, they'd might as well do it in Toronto or something, somewhere that has shown it's love every time! Bummer, man.

Yes. The idea of a Sonic Youth lunch box started off as a joke to wind up my girlfriend, but she looked so dismayed at the fact that I was saying that I wanted one that I couldn't resist going ahead and creating it. It's only an SY "Teenage Riot" sticker stuck on a plain green lunch box, but it looks quite cool.
