well ok, how about hm kava? can you take kava? it is yummier than xanax as it lacks the chemical edge. very mellow, and it's sold as a harmless tea (it is harmless-- mostly, i think).

The roots have effects on your liver very similar to that of moderate drinking. They don't sell those teas everywhere. I could never find any in my town. Most grocery stores or vitamin shops sell the capsules. It's a very wonderful ethnobotanical. The anxiotyl effects of the benzos is somewhat similar but Kava leaves you with no blackouts and it feels much more mellow.
