Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Subhumans, Discharge, Circle Jerks, etc were punk bands. Flipper weren't hardcore or punk. They didn't really fit into any easily definable category, which was one of their main appeals. |
so, like i said earlier i love way too many hardcore bands from around the world and from the three decades it has existed.
so i'm going to talk to you about one or two i'm into right now. i am listening to one of the best hardcore releases ever: ![]() united blood is pretty cool too but afterwards they have gone to complete shit, save a very few scant songs. but man!!! victim in pain is so amazing, completely passionated, incredibly pissed off, hard and fast as shit, roger miret sounds like one pissed off motherfucker with much screaming and there's no dumb macho postering, no retarded oi!-like chorus. nothing but 15 minutes of pure fucking aggression. besides, vinnie stigma is one of my favorite people in hardcore period. --- the last contemporary hardcore bands i listened to that i loved were cursed (r.i.p. appearantly) and blacklisted. |
void, hands down
|
or nig heist too
and Y-DI NECROS BLIGHT |
Agnostic Front were just a macho bunch of dick pullers.
I heard H2O on the radio the other day boasting about how hardcore they are - when they sound like a pop punk band. |
'victim in pain' is one of the heaviest and most fucked up hardcore records ive ever heard, soooooo fucking good.
what about 90s hardcore? i would probably go with born against being the best hardcore band from the 90s. |
gee...don't you love it when people don't read your post, just see a picture and comment ignorantly on it?
--- i never was into born against, i never could like them. i like angel's blood tons more. |
born against are great.
i used to love earth crisis for a few years in the 90's, but then i got into reversal of man and other screaming hardcore bands and got out of the chug chug bands. firestorm is still a funny song to put on sometimes. |
