I am full on artsy-fartsy too, but I have always despised fashion and style and anything so superfluous and ephemeral. It is like caring about what product someone put in their hair.

anyone who says "style is a load of shit" is in deep denial about the way in which the human brain processes visual information.

this is especially ironic coming from someone who has very definite ideas about how women should look. the size of their ass, the type of hair they have, what they do with it, and the clothes they wear. in short their STYLE.

and though ass size is partly determined by genetics... what one does with the ass (feed it chicken legs or starve it and get on an exercise machine) and how one covers in up or lets it hang out there so that flexing the buns gives Rob I. a black eye and a hard on.... that's all a question of STYLE.

I love a big butt girl regardkless of her clothes. clothes and hair and make up are all affectations and meaningless to ANYTHING in the scope of humanity and the human endeavor. the entire fashion industry, with it's sycophantic magazines, experts, fashionistas, and "trendsetters" is a crock of shit, a hall of mirrors.

i will say this... i think style in the sense of "fashion" is lame, but i do like when someone has a sense of personal style. when they know what hair/clothes/ or even lipstick... makes them look like hot shit. and i admire those little stylistic touches that make people individuals.

Every clothing choice we make is a "style" choice, whether we choose to admit it or not. Unless you get dressed in the dark and go shopping blindfolded, you are full of shit if you say "style" is a non-issue.

STYLE refers to a manner of understanding visual information in a variety of different media - film, print, oil on canvas, music, architecture, martial arts, professional basketball, clothing, dance, body language...

is a bogart movie different than a tarantino movie? that's STYLE.

is jackie chan different from jet-li? that's STYLE.

I don't mean to have a go at you but this seems to contradict what I have noticed from photos you have posted on here which show you wearing the same type of 'indie' style which is a style and is a conscious decision to dress in this way in order to achieve a certain look, and you even seem to have an styled attention to detail and some accessories which isn't all that common in men's appearance
