This IS a good one. No real deep impression. Just a quick nod of approval.

The reason I sat down to post: EJST&NS-Washing Machine-A Thousand Leaves

Let me explain. EJST&NS emanates a cool vibe with its throwaway lyrics

Washing Machine comes along and adds a spiritual blast to that vibe.

Finally, A Thousand Leaves gets downright academic.

I could go on.

To cite the Sister-Whitey-DDN trifecta: it is weighted necessarily to the masterpiece at the end but the screaming agency (?) that got them there explains a lot of that records highs.

EJST+NS was the first SNY album I bought. I think it is their most "varied" album. It will always have a special place in my heart - and imho it will never EVER bore.
