well, not really.
|
so wait louder, these are like legit mixes? Not just a playlist but I mean like you blended them etc? If so I'll check them out.
|
oh no heh, just playlists i compiled in a few mins.
|
oh oh oh was confused cuz you mentioned DJ'ing.
|
yeah, figured so. anyway as i've said before, Life Is Good is my most anticipated album in a long time. seems like it's gonna be a lot more introspective than his last few projects, plus most of it is produced by No I.D. and he and Nas make such a great combo.

they absolutely do. "Success"... 8O

listened to pretty much MF Doom's whole discography today.
|
Born Like This was amazing if you ask me.
|
I thought Born Like This was excellent. Not sure if I'd say 'amazing' but it was one of my favorite albums that year. 'Fucking awesome' might be a better description.
I just miss the days of Doom when he'd drop 3 albums a year haha. |
Jay, Nas, DOOM, Ghost. sometimes the order changes, but those are always my favs.

American Gangster might be Jay's best project ever, period (though my fav Jay songs happen to be from other albums).
i'm just always scared to admit. |
American Gangster has to be my fav Jay album. Yeah.
Anyway, back on my Ghostface kick. |

lol at old men's rap
there's nothing more pathetic than delusional snooties who think they listen to "real raps", while in reality it's just basic flows and lyrics over dusty, outdated beats. see: most 80's hip-hop. |
you're really going to discount an entire decade of hip hop just like that huh
