A bloke called Roger Ebert says it's "magnificent". Is Roger Ebert a random bloke the promoters met on a street and payed to say that, or is he of significance? |
random bloke

![]() 7.0/10 A great time at the movies. Sure the plot hit that 'end-of-comedy snag' but it was still one of the funniest movies I've seen in quite some time |

I can't honestly decide which show I like better.. but 12 Oz is a bit more "adult swim humor" and xavier is striving for something different, so it's hasrd to compare the two. I'd lean towards xavier all-in-all but 12 oz mouse is still absolutely hauntingly original and brilliant too.. |
Honey, I Blew Up The Baby.
Not as good as the first obviously, but still a decent flick. 5/10 |

while no great "film" it really is very funny and fun to watch on a late night at the movies with a theatre full of drunk/stoned people wanting to laugh. |

![]() Saw this last night. did not know what to expect but Werner Herzog has blown my mind again. Nic Cage was awesome, as he is when he has a real juicy psycho role to play. crazy fucking movie man. 9/10 |

![]() EUREKA Decided I had to watch this after being captivated by the poster in this thread, and the fact that I love anything Japanese. I enjoyed every second of this film and its run time is 217 mins. That's what happens when you have a cast of talented actors and have an unique captivating story. The dialog was spot on, I could listen to their conversations forever. Kōji Hashimoto was flawless in his performance. The film is 90% shot in a sepia tone, which made for a very soothing feel. It captured the bliss of rural Japan perfectly. The real grand slam of awesomeness came at the end credits when it said the theme song "Eureka" is Jim O'Rourke's Eureka! I've never heard that album so this was a real surprise. I knew something was up when I was thinking "Man, the music is kickass too!" 10/10 |
Yeah, it's def. the best. I'm glad so many people have taken a chance with watching it, 4 or 5 people now have told me they sat through it because of my recommendation. It's definitely worth it, I've watched it many times now and it never gets old, and yes, it could go on forever. The rare perfect film.
