I want to quit. I've been thinking about it like every smoke I have, but then I'm all, "I'm not ready yet." My support system would be shit too cause all my close friends smoke.

I've been 'addicted' for almost two years now, and smoked fairly regularly for a year before that. Quitting is going to be ridiculous, especially with school and all. I just don't want to be one of those people quitting after smoking for 20 years or whatever. That would be crazy hard. So, better earlier than later but I really doubt I'd be able to right now.

School is okay, I'm finishing life skills in a week or two and starting on my grade 11 English. I have two English credits to get and a grade 10 science, then just a bunch of elective courses. Science is going to be the biggest bitch of all though. I find science interesting and all, it's just not really my thing haha.

quitting is easy. you just stop buying cigarretes and lighters.
I quit for 4 years once, then again a year ago, after my divorce. no big whup if you keep yourself busy.
I smoked for 10 years befoe I quit.

I always tell people, smoke if you want to and quit if you want to.
do not quit because people tell you you are shortening your life span.

most people who live to an old age suffer greatly the last few years of life, due to many many physical and mental breakdowns of the body and mind.


I do not think you or anyone will miss much losing the last 4 years of one's life.
