Don't make no sense

How come? Those four tracks were never on Bad Moon Rising originally. All 4 did appear on the CD compilation known as '1985' that was reissued as Bad Moon Rising.

It doesn't make any sense because of this phrase: "In addition to the album and its bonus tracks..."
Sure, the original vinyl release didn't have any bonus tracks. But in '86 when the BMR CD came out it included Flower, Halloween, Echo Canyon, and Satan is Boring. So those would be the bonus tracks referred to by the phrase I quoted at the beginning of my post.

So the blurb from Pitchfork implies you're getting bonus tracks in addition to Flower, Halloween, etc. And according to Midheaven, there are no bonus tracks besides the four that I've been referring to.

yeah I haven't bought any of the reissues unless they have stuff on them that I don't already own. I mean does Whitey Album sound any better than the DGC version I have?

Was the DDN reissue remastered in some way that was superior to the Deluxe Ed from several yrs back?

Apparently, yes. I bought the latest Daydream Nation reissue on vinyl as I didn't own the album on that format. Truthfully I can't tell much difference in mastering. So I now own the Blast First copy on CD, the Geffen Deluxe reissue on CD and the Goofin LP reissue, they all sound great to me!

Apparently, there's a documentary on free-jazz currently in the works, tentatively titled "Fire Music", aimed to "tell the definitive history of the free-jazz revolution"; produced by Thurston Moore & Nels Cline. Kickstarter campaign to fund it goes live soon, according to rumours on the Interneck.

Sounds unequivocably bitchen. Now, PLEASE let there be a DVD or Blu-Ray or something; I'm pretty tired of the streaming-only bullcrap...

last paragraph of the article :

"Executive producers Thurston Moore ( Sonic Youth ) and Nels Cline (Wilco) are virtual musicologists and two of the most knowledgeable authorities on Avant-Garde Jazz in the world. They are rated 34 and 82 respectively in Rolling Stone's list of "All Time Greatest Guitar Players".

isn't that funny ? rolling stone (:fuckyou:) it's like an authority to the guitar players ?!
