At the risk of sounding like a hipster, a lot of bands that were dynamite now stink. It's mainly post-punk and punker fellows that fail to capture their youthish gold inevitably.

Cat Power started sucking heavily once she started writing happy songs with a capable backing band and all...


Just kidding, The Greatest is probably my second favorite album of hers. I'm just surprised someone hasn't brought her up yet as people seem to think she sucks now that she wears makeup and has confidence.

And PS... Pixies may have never been great live, but Trompe Le Monde is their best album IMO. And I never have liked Bossanova.

Well one band that have definitely remained consistent and were and still are dynamite is SHELLAC.

This new record is fucking fantastic. I want to stand on large buildings and shout it out for all to hear, it's that good. But then I'd probably get pissed off the mass are listening to it - 'cause I'm funny like that.

yeah shellac are still good but nothing beats doris/wingwalker and at action park...

Yeah to be honest, I'm sick of Beyond bashing. It's a quality album that sounds just like Dino circa bug.
