I think most people on this board and specifically this thread who don't like certain bands -- like Metallica, Tool, etc. -- have never actually sat down and listened to their records and can't associate a band with their music and not their fanbase or "hit singles". Not EVERYONE, mind you, if you legitimately dislike a record, that's fine. It just bothers me when people don't know a fucking thing about what they're talking about. When I make fun of an artist, I've actually listened to their album(s). Just sayin'.

...again... I said NOT EVERYBODY. So my above message didn't apply to EVERYBODY. No need to have 50 people reply with, "YEAH, WELL, I LISTENED TO SUCH AND SUCH, 3 RECORDS BY 'EM, AND THEY SUCK!" This isn't pointing fingers at anyone in particular. Just, if you legitimately dislike a band after actually LISTENING to them, take comfort in that and realize my message didn't apply to you.
