I wore this jacket all last winter/fall/spring. I'm thinking about getting a different one next month as this one has started to fade (It was 100% black to begin with and that kind of annoyed me)

That looks a little like the J. Crew short lightweight army jacket I picked up last spring! Mine has a few more pockets, but that's the style and color basically. I love that thing so much, I've worn the hell out if. Wear it almost every day.

I happen to dig the olive green, btw.

I'm just not a big fan of green jackets. I think all outerwear should be black.

No, not leather. I'm back and forth between wanting that in leather or cloth. I like the look of leather better, but I'm not sure I've the fortitude to break it in.

Get a leather. Break it in. It'll be worth it.

Green's great in anything military looking. Except pea coats. Those should always be navy blue or black.
