i realized last night that i'm too down on myself. we have fucks here at school getting into harvard, and i don't see how i couldn't get into columbia.

Well that is why I have student loans and financial aid.

edit- yeah I am too hard on myself. I can get into any of those. I may apply to NYU just for the sake of it.

Confidence is such a big part of it. I wish I could get into Columbia though.

Yeah, it will. I know deep inside of me I want to go to New York. So I am going to try my best to get there.

It's a great city minus expenses but thats the same in any nice city.

Yeah, my BF did not like it. It was too dirty and expensive. But I know this is where I at least want to go to study.

In all the touristy parts its like that but downtowns pretty nice and the music scene is great all over the city.

i get really, really lazy towards end of the year. all i'm doing in class is doing assignments as the teacher talks or letting my group do all the work while i sit and read. i save my brain activity for exams.

Yeah, but I will take that course to help me study. See if I can pick up any tips.
