The new Mogwai record isn't that great, it's an exercise in competent autopilot more so than anything. The most rewarding part was learning what new song Stuart played when I saw him solo.

Plus they totally ripped off Gremlins.

Sounds like Zola Jesus going for the modern goth thing before she did a runner and we don't know where she is now. Trying hard to be 'strange' and 'deep'. We need men and women with less morals in underground music. It's more fun.
