sometimes they don't like the song, like on Cinderella Kim and Lee hate their parts on it, and others like Sound World is maybe way to complicated for Thurston to bother re-learning

neptuneg 10.14.2008 07:21 PM

They all seem to like Washing Machine as a whole, so hopefully they will bring some stuff back from that.

the bass part doesn't jibe with her tendonitis.

That's a good reason not to play it! I know that for some bass heavy songs though, she's lightened up a bit. Like on 'Cross the Breeze, she used to strum all of the strings really fast during the hardcore part and now she just strums one string.

I wanna hear some cover tunes combined with original material, such as:

Sweet Shine Alabama
These (Dirty) Boots
I'm Insane in the Membrane
Shine on You Crazy Diamond Sea
Who'll Stop the Rain King?
Turn the Empty Page

Death & the Maiden 10.15.2008 01:06 AM

I don't get why Diamond Sea is considered to be their best song, or in some cases the best song ever. I listened to it today, and the first 7 minutes are alright, but after that I get bored.

At this point, I'd be happy just getting to a show on the 09 tour.
