I'll try to have my pictures up from Knoxville and Nashville sometime today.
|
Sounds good. Also, after the show, Thurston played a show at a bar called Betty's Grill with some girl that I did not know. It was pretty entertaining overall, mostly just feedback, but being in that setting and seeing Thurston was excellent. Mark was also there, just chillin' out and drinking.

hmm so Schizophrenia, catholic block, pch, white cross been played in 2009. Stereo Sanctity soundchecked, so they havenīt forget how to play that one, kotton crown wasnīt played not to long ago. It could be a very Sisterely year this!!!!! If the would bring Pipeline/Kill Time on Iīll will just die
|
if it is true, then maybe they have been offered to do Sister in it's entirety for ATP Don't Look Back, i forget where it was said i think either Kim or Thurston said they would never play it again

I remember hearing Kim wasn't nuts about relearning "SS". As far as the ATP thing, you be startin' rumors. I call creamsicle! |

I bet she wasn't, given her athritis! That's one of their fastest played songs ever. |
I was listening to Stereo Sanctity when i read this latest Development. There has to be some thinking behind what they're doing at the moment. teasing out the old songs. it's fantastic!!!!
|
well i suppose if Mark takes the lead on it, Kim could just keep pace, it makes it a lot easier for them to do these songs with an extra bassist

This was a great post to begin with, but I mean, woah, now what?? It could wind up being profoundly coincidental as well... |
I'd forgotten I'd even said that! Whoa indeed.
|
Prophetic, even
|
As Steve aid in the interview thats posted somewere. Question about doing the Daydream nation shows. "We got alot of good energy of doing thoose shows, it was really fun" and they know the ATP guy pretty cloose so maybe we get another ATP show.
It must be fun for the band aswell I mean playing songs that you havenīt played for 20 years must be like playing new ones? |
STEREO SANCITY, CATHOLIC BLOCK, EXPRESSWAY TO YR SKULL, 'CROSS THE BREEZE, HEY JONI, -from the birmingham show.
the last song of the sndchk was skip tracer but the above mentioned were all rocked out during the show. Massage/ Poison >---->/ were both standouts from the eternal material. the show was rabid, but a two hour+ drive to atlanta in a wild lightning rain deluge has put aside my thoughts till i wake up. 1- sacred trickster 2- no way 3 expressway -------------- 2nd encore- 'Cross the Breeze mark introduced as mark arm. |
now we're talkin'. :D
|
Shiiiiiiiit.....
|
Damn!
|
dude! if they play skip tracer tonight... that would fucking rule!
|
from the setlist:
Sacred Trickster NO WAY calming the snake Hey Joni poison arrow anti-orgasm malibu gas station antenna leaky lifeboat catholic block walkin blue massage history stereo sanctity ---------------- what we know expressway ---------------- Sprawl Cross the Breeze Fantastic show. One of the best I've seen. This was taken from the setlist although I could've sworn they also played Rats (...confused it with "what we know"). Great sound and the cool breezes were great but I was concerned they would have to cancel when rain started pouring on stage. Anyway, work becons (UGH). Someone check me on what they actually played but the setlist seems pretty accurate. unravelled ps. songs off of the eternal sound incredible live |
they better keep playin' SS out west. I'll be there, and well, I
am a prophet, so I should get to hear it, no? YESSIR! |
Chris, what shows out West are you seeing?
