really there's two things to know about that press and you didn't know either one of them. god forbid you ever try a coffee preparation method that requires any care. look man, i'm stupid as fuck and i can make a coffee without messing up every step of the process

ok so I received this a few years ago and never had any use for it because my wife and I had always used a Bunn drip coffee maker. So recently I decided to take it out and start using it because I now only need to make coffee for myself, and I knew the basic steps, which any infant can do, i.e., grind the coffee, pour it in, add the hot water, let it steep, and then plunge. I had never thought of stirring the coffee grounds. I just thought a robust pour of the hot water was enough, and it always seemed to create a good bloom.
It was just kind of really neat-o to realize that stirring would help too!
