Looks like Geffen repressed Goo on 180gm vinyl last year as part of their "Back to Black" series and included a voucher for mp3 downloads:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=130280191630 auction text: SONIC YOUTH Goo LP 180 gram vinyl + MP3 voucher Back to Black 070642429716 NEW & SEALED (That takes the number of different Goo vinyl pressings I've seen to at least 14 now!) |
Beautiful Plateau promo single. Is it a factory pressed CD or a CDr?
http://sonicyouth.com/mustang/lp/ep61.html |
^ CDr
Test Press for Dim Stars 3x7" with different artwork. |
^ did you blur that? I would think the discog should have an actual scan, not an edited one.
|
No, i didn't blur it, it was blured for ebay, i didn't win this so i can't provide an unedited version, also discogs only has the regular cover. Maybe the person who won this could give us better pics.

All the new pages look great, Chris. The merch section is amazing. One thing I DO NOT like though is that "Hits 88-02" CD you have listed under Official Bootlegs. My thinking is this: (A) If it is really made by Universal, then it is an Import or a Promo. It is not a bootleg. (B) It is very well a bootleg -- not made by Universal -- but the bootlegger just photoshopped a Universal logo on that bitch to make it look official. Either way, I tend to like the Official Bootleg being reserved for the boots made by the band themselves. (though in a way, I dnt even consider those to be bootlegs -- I consider them to be limited edition releases. but that's a msgbrd soapbox speech for another day my friend).

What are you talking about???It's obviously an offical Universal comp!! it's even got unreleased tracks!! yayz!! "Gross Che Breeze" (this one is dedicated to Che Guevara of course, but they think he 's gross huh) and Crilogy |
T's are mistaken for C's
|
yeh, i really wavered on where to stick that one. i'm definitely open to suggestions if somebody has a better knowledge of black market piration.
oh, and if you're down at the black market, let me know if you see all my shit that got stolen last night. :( |
Thanks for the updates Chris, good to see some of my t-shirts in the merchandise section! what did you have stolen?

i've got some "dirty" shoe laces you can add to the miscellaneous weird promo shit, i'll take pics if you want.
also the frisbee: |
I was the one who submitted the clothes pins.
|
Anyway, I think the CD should be listed under "bootleg", but not "official bootlegs."
