I'm having trouble downloading the zip. It's very slow, and by the time it gets to the half way mark, it stops.

try the sharebee links. they work.

Did you try both badongo and sharebee links toko? Try to delete your temporary files, sometimes it helps.
(edit: the badongo link is "officially" fucked up? I'll up another one and delete the current one if needed)

The download is unuasually slow for a zip file. I haven't checked, but are some of the files in wav format?

Thanks! It's a good idea, but I'd say that's worth to wait till max send the normalized mp3s, I'll repack them and you can host them there. How big is your bandwidth? I have a webspace too, with 10gb monthly bandwidth, maybe I could host the files there if you have an annoying limitation.

well, from my perspective it's easier to turn "secret girl" into some drone collage rather than "Patter Recognition" or "Reena" :) .

But yeah, older songs are probably more popular among the fans, me included.

you're right, _slavo_. beside that it's easier to improvise some guitar noise with older songs than with new ones. for example, i tought that i can do nevermind(what was it anyway) but i just don't know how to be diferent from the original one (i mean live version, wich is much better than original).

well, another thing is to do what some fellow posters did with song that have more-less "proper" song structure ("Diamond Sea", for example) and twist it up completely which made the tracks interesting.

I'll answer as DH secretary, you're definitely in time for vol.2 ( as a matter of fact, to my knowledge you are one of the very first contributors to have things ready/ almost done). As for sending the song, up it on a site like www.badongo.com , www.sendspace.com and send a pm to Danny with the download link. that's all!
