ha ha-- I WISH! we got paid for that one-- BUT-- we're plotting our return... btw lovely blog post, lots of fun to read, and i almost teared up at the mention of ben's chili bowl half smokes. i have so many memories of eating there at 3am watching the crackheads (this was before u street was gentrified). good times! anyway, what was the story, mmm, i forgot-- o yes-- gonna aX you if you guys are familiar with the quarry house in silver spring? oooh you must-- they have the most incredible blue cheese dressing on the chicken wings and great beers and an awesome jukebox and... just a cool little bar. |

yeah we just went for the easter weekend. worked friday & left sunday. :( but it was AWESOME!!!! it was a restaurant tour of dc, kicked off with city lights of china (it's smaller now!). saturday we managed to go to the hirshhorn for the film exhibit which was awesome. got plastered with friends, ended up at kramerbooks, brunch & we were gone. it was so short, but wow, we were so excited to be there, it hasn't worn off yet. tried to go past mount pleasant (a friend was driving us) but the street was blocked because of the fire so we didn't go. it was all so quick... anyway, as i was saying to jenn, we're planning our return-- oh yes-- we just need lots of money :D |
