Pains me to say it but that’s a good rap. Impossibly good for a freestyle. That’s not a freestyle. That was recorded a while ago, I’d say. Push and Drake are probably having fun with this. |
“Infrared” is WAY better as a song, though. Seriously. Nobody in music can sample like Kanye. Where does he get the ideas for this shit? The sentence fragments and sighs and random words strung together to create an aureal experience? It’s incedible.
Still pissed at him for MAGA, etc., but DAMN |
Louder, so far I think I like Testing more than ALLA, though there’s no standout cutthroat masterpiece track like “Excuse Me.” I haven’t listened to it all the way through yet, but so far it’s pretty good. It’s weakest moments are still listenable.
|
I really love “Jukebox Joints” off ALLA.
Still can’t get over DAYTONA. I’ll give TESTING a second chance once I’m finally able to hear anything else. |
Drake just dropped a terrible new single.
How do you go from a legitimately good diss track back to being shitty and boring in 24 hours? Oh well. |
Quote:
By being Drake, that’s how. He has writers like the Simpsons, so it makes sense he’d have the same success to crippling failure ratio in terms of quality. |
I always thought your Drake hate was overboard but admit the Simpsons analogy is hilarious.

Back up. Overboard? |
The face punching. Violence is overboard haha.

We thought Drake's diss was "good".. but this? This is AMAZING. Glorious.

Yeah but... he’s taking about the dude’s racial heritage and family situation. Seems kind of “too mean” to me. And y’all KNOW I ducking HATE Drake’s stupid ass. That photo is ridiculous and unreal though. I guess maybe Drake invited racial comments by posing in black face? But maybe that’s OK for Drake? Shit I don’t know. |

I’ve never punched Drake. Only longned to every day for like three years. |

Can you see Drake bounce back from this?
Pusha's flow is too venomous. |
"How dare you put Ye in my verses?!". Real shit. Can't believe Drake stooped this low. Nobody should speak ill on Ye, he gave all those rappers their careers.

Not saying Drake didn’t deserve it. Just... wondering how this all shakes out. The multiple sclerosis joke about 40 (who has MS... on National MS Day) was pretty cold blooded. Not that I’m not team Push all the way. |

Disagree? If so, please... elaborate so I can laugh at something. |

New Kanye album is confirmed!
Drops either tonight or tomorrow. Can't believe this is happening. |
Quote:
Confirmed? You sure? I know a listening party is scheduled, but... still no 100% clear title, right? Yeah, we heard “Love Everyhody,” but that doesn’t feel quite right. No cover art? No songs previewed (unless “Lift Yourself” and “Ye Vs. the People” are on the album, which PLEASE GOD NO). This would be the first time ever that he hasn’t previewed a tracklist, features and at least one single prior to the album’s release. Even “Yeezus” had “New Slaves” and “Black Skinhead.” I dunno man. I’ll believe it when I see it. |

It's out now.

Good or bad? I dunno yet.
But it's sure as shit interesting. I'm not bored. |
I've only given it one listen but there's not been one bit where I've thought "GET IN!". So far, so ok.
|
Only kinda iffy about "All Mine" so far. The hook sounds like something off J.Cole's last album.
Everything else is so good. Tracks 4, 5 and 6 are full of beauty and joy. |
Album Of The Year
|
Again... again... again
|
Not that you're biased of course

I have several theories about this already, but this album is so good that I almost don’t give a shit about all the stupid shit Kanye’s done recently. My god. It’s loke all highs. Like Pablo minus the god complex and fillery moments. This is the conemplation on humanity and human failings to the “God” posturing that was Yeezus. SORRY, PUSHA |
Quote:
It’s not a bias. I just really like Ye’s music. WHEN IT’S GOOD. I was harder on him for “Lift Yourself” and “Ye vs the People” than anyone here. |
Quote:
“Yikes,” “Ghost Town” the fuck you want? |
Reading reddit and here means I'm gonna have to go for a long (25 minute) walk with the headphones and soak it in more.
|
Did it hit anyone as great right away? For some reason, I feel it's a bit of a grower.
|
Quote:
Exactly this. |
There's something so freeing about this album.
Makes me wanna stand in the middle of a valley and scream. |
Quote:
Yeah. Pusha's album is my shit but there is no contest. |

Ill tell you this: I was up waiting for the goddamn livestream to start until damn near midnight (I get up at 5, so... y’know, FUCK) and the snippets I heard when I did get up, before it became available, did not have me feeling good. In fact, I put on “Waves” and “Good Life” on the way to work just to feel some good ass vibe Kanye. When I listened to it in full, though, I was like, “This is lit” by track 2. I’ve listened to it like eight times now. |
Quote:
I will, after it sinks in a little more. There are some “Old Kanye” vibes here, along with some “darker than ever before by a fucking long shot” moments. This is a diary entry album. It’s a bipolar album. It’s the human side of Kanye. |
