My last.fm scrobbles about three seconds of a track as a full track. I think it depends on the player. I used to have iTunes and the track wouldn't scrobble until 1/2-3/4 through the song. Now that I have Winamp, it takes much quicker.

So yeah, I guess it's possible some people aren't listening to the full track, though the numbers don't surprise me much given the mass hype this band has on the internet.

How? Last.fm won't let you scrobble a track at all if it's under.. I THINK... 30 seconds.

does anyone know of any other musical artist who has gotten so big in such a small amount of time? (referring to Wavves/Nathan Williams)... I believe he played his first show as Wavves just a few months ago.
