as for my day you can say it was ok. i go to the libray every day for the ny times coverage of the war. then i read bits of barack obama's second book in russian translation. came home, listened to iggy. mailed a letter to my grnadparents and hit a philosophy seminar on speech acts, silence and pornography. later, my little brother and i had a marathon phone chat about the same. now i am just laying about. it is already thursday. meet me at the corner.

Quehenberger is pretty much the underground legend here in vienna. He does alot of different styles, from straight techno to dark ambient to noise and he also plays with various free jazzers and impro groups (that's the stuff I prefer at the moment).
He's got a new record out on Mego but I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet.

Lunch. Awkward lunch. Awkward because my gay friend, who is probably my best 'guy' friend, won't be able to keep his mouth shut about seeing me and our mutual friend (a girl, btdubs) making out. We totally got busted and have kept things under the radar because we didn't want to make a big deal about things...but that's out the window now.

It had sun breaks, which was really nice. I think getting laid the night before helped that much to happen. Tonight I'm sleeping in my new room with my son in his little cot at the foot of my bed. Tomorrow my band is playing in Tacoma at Bob's Java Jive, the coolest dive in the NW. Life is pretty good, if not completely satisfying.

i have a headache, i'm pissed off, nothing to eat but orange crush and ramen, boyfriend is an idiot, can't sleep.
