i'm jealous

my summer's basicallyl been a waste of time

Why is that?

most of my friends are out of town, so i've been at home a lot. usually i end up watching television (which blows anytime of day), and going on the computer.

i have been taking some dance and pottery classes though, and brushing up on my classical piano. that's pretty much the highlight of my summer

That doesn't sound so bad, although I'll confess that dancing isn't my thing at all.

Summer here has been unusually cool, with regular rain. I've really enjoyed it so far. Unfortunately however it seems to be hotting up, which is a shame.

I don't think I'll be doing much other than working this summer, as my partner has broken her ankle, so can't get out much.

i've been tap dancing for about seven or eight years now, so i really enjoy it. it's a shame there are hardly any guys that are interested in it. my dance company has only girls.

summer in dc has been miserable. the heat is insane with crazy humidity. it's just disgusting.

She just went over on her ankle for no apparant reason. Dislocated it and broke it in three places.

We had a bizarrely hot summer last year, and I just kept thinking 'do people really pay good money for holidays to experience this?'.

the heat seems to be getting worse and worse every year. i miss winter time. sometimes i just want to wear a big coat.

I think the dislocation was the most painful, because she stopped screaming once that was put right. Although now that I think of it, the morphine may have been a factor. She's had metal plates and pins put in, so she just has to sit around for a month or two while it gets better.

damn that's a bummer. specially during the summertime.

i think the reason the summer seems so bad this year is cause there haven't been any decent bands playing around here. i haven't been to a good show in a long while. i'm feeling withdrawal symptons.

What about jazz? Is there a decent jazz scene?

Jazz is good summer music.

i guess there's a decent jazz scene around here. i'm more into playing it than listening though. i play a lot of jazz during the school year in my music class, so i feel like i get my fill or something
