yeah, it has it's faults, i.e. some people being arrogant pricks, people starting stupid and pointless threads, etc.... but for the most part, it's a great place to chill when you have nothing better to do. I tried getting into the Flaming Lips forum, but the layout is not as user friendly, and you don't have the regulars the same way you do here. That's all...

I've been on other boards but most people are just dipshits.

I've really only been to one other board that was quite as nice as this one, but it was actually a branch off of a board that was flooded with assholes. I never frequent more than one forum at a time, and am quite happy here.

I'm registered with a few messageboards but they are not as interesting as this one even when i assume that they would be because the music/band/subject or whatever will keep me there for a long time.The posts can be good on many boards but this one shows a barrage of insanity like no other.

im a member on a manson board(its pretty okay), on a local rave msg board site (DRAAAMMMAAAAAAAA!!!! love it there. Everyone knows everyone in real life, so when drama errupts its THROWED. nothing like it in the world.), echoingthesound(nin, and its dull.), saddle creek msg board (it used to be cool, but now it sucks), and here (this place is pretty decent.)

yeah im a member on Ulitmate-Guitar. God those people are arseholes and the mods are always deleting stuff. I get my guitar tabs from there, but i dont bother posting on the forum amymore, they are all so insanely small minded. People say SY fans are snobbish (and i guess thats true in some cases) but for the most part I find SY fans to be highly intellegent, fun and down to earth people. You can for the most part discuss things without tearing each other to pieces.

dissensus and ihatemusic must be synonyms for sonic youth gossip.

I know people who post on that board, and they are boring beyond words. I can only imagine. The West Omaha slime that posts on that board. What an awful experience for you.

i like here.no other boards (except grete's "italian" sonic board).we rule.yaiiii.kawabanga.feels like we're a great family in a sanitarium.hope that's the right word.i mean "mental hospital".which is probably a worse expression.
