I tried to watch it for about five minutes once. I agree, it's horrible.

i done a whole epsoide just so i could say its bollox.

The same goes for Heroes. I tried to watch that for a minute a couple of times, and found it painfully stupid.
As for other exceedingly popular shows, like American Idol, Desperate Housewives, Dancing with the Stars (when that was on), Grey's Anatomy, and the CSI franchise, etc., I've never watched for more than a few seconds.

I've never watched it. But shows like this is why I hate television. Constant ads of this shit make me go insane.

All those fucking "idol" shows can go the fuck to hell.
No one on them;
a) matters,
b) goes anywhere.
And I cannot fucking comprehend what drives people to continue watching these predictable, annoying, used-up, hired-actors, shit-ass, waste-of-time, over-marketed, pieces of crap.

Hate American Idol, although i do find some of the people that audition for it funny - as in the ones who cant sing for nutz and then get all offended when they are told they are shite.

I like Desperate Housewives simply because some of the stuff on there is so ridiculously stupid. Like...this guys wife (Alma) that faked her death, she moved to Wysteria Lane to try to get her husband back (she wanted a baby). So she has his mother call him and say that Alma killed herself (the 2nd death faking). He comes over. They drug him with sleeping pills and Viagra, and then she fucks him.

How can you not enjoy such ridiculous shit?

Heroes is pretty poorly written, but I keep watching it. I want to see how it ends.

tim gunn from project runway was on an episode this week. normally the show sucks, but tim has a magic touch.

America Ferrera seems like a grounded person, just kind of weird they use someone who is quite pretty, put braces and glasses on her then call her ugly, just a weird just kind of bad idea

best stuff on tv is NBC, they got both the best comedy (30 Rock) and best drama (Law & Order SVU)

well the idea isn't that she's actually ugly, but more that she doesn't conform with mainstream fashion's beauty ideals, the people in the show who call her ugly are the (accurately portrayed) vacuous fashion/PR types. i like the program, it's not amazing but it is good.

oh i know, just like you said, alot of people think people who wear glasses and such are ugly compared to some frail blonde model(no offense)

well, i like a girl in glasses (because they look studious) and i have a thing for women who are too old to wear braces but wear braces (because it's goofy), and i like curvy women (because they're more like women) and i like mediterranean/hispanic complexion (because i'm a pale and pasty fuck).

The thing is ysee.... shes NOT UGLY. SHE IS GORGEOUS. To make her "Ugly" clearly required many hours of makeup, if she was actually not attractive i may have been attracted to the concept, but no. One could say thats some kind of comment on something, possibly, but the ultimate hypocrisy of it is too unbelievable.

and she is good looking. i think she looks better with the braces and glasses than she does in real life..
