As for anybody else, don't listen to it. Being in LA and from LA, well, we got a lot of Weezer around. I think of it as less offensive than say Greenday or Blink 182 BUT only slightly less.

the first album is decent though i didn't think so back then. hated them and the Pumpkins.

Pinkerton b-sides are great. the first Rentals album was the shit until i heard Stereolab.

all in all, Harvard was the last real claim for greatness for rivers.

I was getting my haircut recently, and commercial radio in the shop was tormenting me as I waited. After a particularly bothersome song, the rockin DJ revealed that it was Weezer. I have heard a Weezer song afterall.
