Post pics of your guitar pedals.
I just got this Electro Harmonix pedal bag today, so now my pedals are finally organized. I've very happy with it, fits my pedals perfectly and is only $40 bucks, which is a good deal if you don't need some fancy expensive pedalboard. As stated in the Electro Harmonix thread, I've been getting into using pedals again, and am quite happy with my current setup. Whatchu got?

Woah fuck...how much did that cost?! Where did u find ti? |
By the way, what do you think of the GIGA-delay CHOUT?
Call me a technophobe, but I found it so difficult and awkward to operate that I couldn't possibly justify spending the money on it. (It sounds great, but I'm holding out for something that doesn't take me 10 minutes to set correctly.) I don't have pictures of my pedals, but I can be boring and list them off: Ibanez Tubescreamer E-H Russian Big Muff Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion (for high pitched noises only) E-H Small Clone MXR Phase 90 Ibanez AD80 Analog Delay |
I can list:
Digitech Tone Driver Overdrive Morley PWA Wah Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer MXR Phase 90 Boss PS-2 pitch shifter/delay Boss DD-3 Delay Boss PH-3 Phase Boss RC-20 XL Loop SansAmp GT2 amp modeler/distortion Everything but the dd-3 and the boss phase sit on my pedalboard. |

edit: wiped off my gear
I'm agree with shentov. http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/sho...6&postcount=42 Internet doesnt connect a fucking hell in this way. |
List :

I love it. Once you experiment with it a little, it's way easy to use. It has tap tempo, which makes it easier to get a good delay time. I messed around with the reverse setting and accidentally made my own ring mod sound, which is another pedal I've wanted. The sound on sound feature is so cool. You can record a loop up to 23 seconds, then play on top of it infinitely, not to mention you can layer it infinitely too. I have a song with a noisy section that this will be perfect for. This is easily the best delay pedal I've ever used. There's a demo video at musician's friend (warning: Cheezy metal dude.) http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...cts?sku=151305 |

Which one do you like better? Zvex pedals are awesome, but so pricey. |
RIPfrey05,
How do you like the Poly Chorus? Where do you find those Harmonic Percolators? How much? |
Zvex pedal sounds great and i don't regret buying it at all.
I don't know which one i like better, it kinda depends on what yr playing but right now i'd say the fuzz factory. by the way CHOUT, mine didn't cost that much, i got it real cheap ( i've got some connections in that guitarshop so i got a discount). |
currently in the chain (inorder)
Boss SuperOverdrive EHX USA Muff Boss Super Chorus Boss PH-3 phaser (which I'm contemplating selling) Arion Flanger (cool flanger which has a little bit of a rubbery sound, and will add distortion when engaged) DOD Digital Delay Not in the chain Digitech Bass Synth (used as octaver) Digitech Hot Rod (I'm against digital distortion, but I hook this one up with the other two and yell into my guitar) |
Nice pedals....us drummers don't get anything sweet like that:mad:
|
???
what are you talking about you drummers got the coolest pedals of all?!? ![]() |
i read about a disortion pedal that kim had. she said when you turn it up like 1/4, it can kill your amp. so now she uses it as a slide
|
i wonder how that would work on a guitar :p

Used it. That shit got jacked. |

Ha...yeah, but that's no biggy! |
i have a russian big muff and digitech pds 1700 (chorus/flanger) It's pretty cool, I think my next pedal's going to be a wah, or if i feel like saving up longer, a delay of somekind.
![]() not mine, but what i t looks like |
does the Boss TU-2 only power up other boss pedals or does it work with all others? i was thinking of getting one, is it worth it?

You can find these adapters if you search godlyke at musician's friend. Edit: by adapters, I mean for the daisy chain link cable that runs out of the Boss TU-2 to power the pedals. Not 'wall warts'. |
THanks a lot Chout
|
Reps for the dude with the Blue Box. Those things are great.
|
When this "thing" is finished, it will be my wonderful "Proco Rat"

this is the only i've got:
![]() $25 from Musician's Friend. it sounds great with my Strat, but not with my actual bass. |
You can see my pedals in both my youtube videos. At the end of Science Fiction, and you can see my board at the beginning of the WIRE- Commercial fan vid I made. Although I chose the music after I made the video, so I guess it is really not a fan video.
But anyways: ![]() ![]() |

Look what I found for $50 today. An old 70's Small Stone (like this)! Sounds awesome. I wasn't intending on buying any pedals for a while, but I couldn't pass it up.

Ripfrey, how is the harmonic percolater? Could you post sound clips? I always thought Albini got the harshness from his other stuff- such as his guitars, pickups, playing style, amp set up, and chorus. Also, have you heard the Dano fab distortion? I heard it is a copy of the perc, I'm wondering if it sounds similar- it would be a pretty nice deal for 15 bucks.
Lone Flanger, how do you like the Slow Volume? I sort of want attack decay, but can't really justify the money, most guitar synths have it, and I'm bound to get one someday. I'm about to buy a PB+J delay, problably in the next few days. There are a lot of cool bends you can do to make it into an awesome delay. I'm also going to mod my frequency analyzer to be a lot more versatile like a moogerfooger. I'm saving up for some pedals, the next big purchase will be a ZVEX fuzz factory though. Other pedals that excite me: ZVEX Lofi Loop junkie Electro-Harmonix HOG Danelectro Chicken Salad Electro-Harmonix 16 second delay Moogerfooger Murf |

It's cool. It's definitely a 'lead' pedal. You have to get used to playing with it and that can be hard so I'm not a real big user of it. Once I get a board together, it'll be on there though. I like it going into a delay especially with a reverse delay setting. |
I've used the Dano FabTone - it was much better than I expected, but not quite right for me. For $15, though, it's a steal.
I read an interview with Page Hamilton where he said the Fuzz Factory is the best distortion he's used. I'm sure he's tried a lot of them. |

post the link to that videos :) |

thats an unfortunate looking guitar pedal if there ever was one. |
My friend gave it too me. I use it for making my feedback sound warbly, making my harmonics ring harder, and modulating my echos. I don't use chorus too hardcore, so it is good for what I need. The high and low filters on it can match its tone to your guitar, which is really nice. What is cool is that it is not true stereo, so when I feel like it, I push the effect out to a completely cranked 15 watt ss amp and the normal out to my main amp, and I can get subtle noisy backdrops with oscillating feeback.
Oh, and here are the 2 videos I made http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=juliandunn I'm going to have some live videos next week. Going to be a one man show since my bassist pooped out on me :(. |
