Unique people

Do you know anyone whose eccentricity is a force to deal with? Sorry, just got bored with the chit chat and talked a little more.

floatingslowly 04.05.2007 05:13 PM

YES.

Pookie 04.05.2007 05:13 PM

Cooking on gas tonight. Too much caffeine?

sarramkrop 04.05.2007 05:14 PM

Nope, lovely.

I shared a house with somebody whose eccentricity was "unique". Funny to look back on, but a pain in the arse at the time.

demonrail666 04.05.2007 05:53 PM

Mellysingsdoom. If only because he can spill a can of beer at the drop of a hat.

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 05:56 PM

Not even the drop of a hat. Confession number 155: I once went out w/demonrail666, staggered back to his old pad, then promptly spilled an entire can of foul-smelling beer over his sofa. demon was not impressed, but not as enraged as his pamamour at the time, who I think wanted me killed.

Have I improved since then? Hell, no.

EDIT: Evidently, I can't spell "paramour" either.

sarramkrop 04.05.2007 06:00 PM

Have yoiu changed sex since then? Doubt it. I slapped myself for this poor joke, i can do better than that.

demonrail666 04.05.2007 06:11 PM

No, he's no better. LOL

demonrail666 04.05.2007 06:12 PM

Seriously Melly, you know I'm as big an Elton fan as anyone but that Avatar is just horrible.

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:14 PM

Yes, I know. Hee hee hee.

Other unique people - an old friend who was into hunt saboteuring and Whitehouse. A strange combination, but a lovely fella.

sarramkrop 04.05.2007 06:15 PM

Leave a man and his avatar alone. They might grow to be the same thing.

You said it.

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:18 PM

You really are flattering me. I possess none of Elton's charm, keyboard skills, looks, money or David Furnish.

demonrail666 04.05.2007 06:19 PM

Tis true..."But Emily Loved Him."

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:23 PM

LOL.

I know someone else who's a very sound and decent person, but who seems to have a knack for getting not just a bit drunk, but falling down slaughtered, after a bottle of wine. (No, it's not me. I'm not that good).

sarramkrop 04.05.2007 06:26 PM

In that case, I' (I, just for you silly(G) gra. Toup[mmar nazis)'m blessed.

The Irving, by any chance?

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:29 PM

Nah, someone at work. You wouldn't know him. I think I've only seen Tony really drunk once, and that was at Danielle Dax's party (remember that?).

The infamous, beer bottle, knife, cock blocking incident.

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:33 PM

That's the one. I was pretty gone myself, but I recall seeing Mr I fall flat on his face in Ms Dax's kitchen.

sarramkrop 04.05.2007 06:34 PM

Oh, WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is Danielle? My sarcasm isn't to be mixed with Hello's. Hello's sarcasm is very Hello's. I'm not that great fan of it i still read Hello. Hello.

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:35 PM

Danielle Dax be here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danielle_Dax

Iain 04.05.2007 06:38 PM

Danielle Dax was in the really ace band The Lemon Kittens. You went to her house?

MellySingsDoom 04.05.2007 06:39 PM

Her flat. It won some sort of design award, if I recall correctly.

sarramkrop 05.23.2007 02:37 PM

I've bumped into an old friend after work. I had lost contact with her and it was nice to reminisce the past and talk about current things. A truly unique person in that she has a wisdom about her words that is totally missing from the majority of people currently breathing. Even her irish/cockney accent (she was brought up here) is an amazing amalgalm of sounds that is totally unique. We laughed about a mixtape that I had made for her once, and she told me it was complete rubbish.

Ew.

Danny Himself 05.23.2007 04:09 PM

Willy Wonka as portrayed by Gene Wilder defines eccentricity.

schizophrenicroom 05.23.2007 09:38 PM

my friend corrine is a very unique person but she sometimes crosses that thin awesome/overbearing line. she's very explosive when she talks.

atsonicpark 05.23.2007 10:11 PM

yeah, i have a friend who has this thing where he always wants to go places.. he'll be like "let's go to the store." we'll drive half-way to the store and he'll go "actually, let's go to the mall." we'll walk into the wall, be there 5 minutes, and he'll want to go somewhere else. etc.also, he can't listen to a song on his cd player for more than 4 seconds without changing it. seriously, he'll put a cd in, skip through 20 songs on it, then put another cd in. over and over. he's nuts.
