Yep, it sounds like a true Fender. Especially with those high budget humbuckers and strat bridge, they REALLY bring out the Jaguar/Jazzmaster sound.

wellllll i'm a bit of a fan of the squier myself. i have reissue fenders but my favourite guitar is a squier telecaster.
I'd say with a bit of a tweek you could get this one sounding just as good as those reissues. i mean for the price you can't go wrong with a squier.
