they believe that the United States Federal Government has ususrped it's own Constitution and grabbed all the power away from the states and respective counties and cities. They see the Federal Government as Tyrannical, and as in league with powers and people whose main interest is not what is in the best interest for america but what is in the best interests of their pocketbooks and businesses. They see the United States willfully giving up soverign n power to the United Nations.
They are right about most of it. that is the fucking horror of it. They are truly correct about the US federal government ususrping the 10th amendment to the Constitution (BILL OF RIGHTS) The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved for the States respectively, or to the people. The Federal Government has created a system that basically has any and all laws created by the federal government trumping any laws created by a state or a county or a city, which is EXACTLY what the founding fathers of this country wrote the constitution to PREVENT. a federal government that does not allow for the differences between it's various peoples, that doe snot allow for different laws where aplicable, is TYRANNICAL, and they WILL show up at your house, and they WILL shoot you.\ The state of california for example, hasd voted repeatedly, with an overwhe, ming 65% majority, to decriminilaize marihuana use and growing. This is exactly what the 10th amendment was set up to allow. a state, with it's own government, can set it's own laws according to the will of IT'S PEOPLE. the fedeal government wants control of everyone and everything and individual states excercising their own right to self determination is fully american and fully constitutional and completely NOT what the federal government wants. long live the true america. |
it is all true

That's interesting because having watched a couple of documentaries since starting this thread, I've found myself agreeing with quite a bit of what these groups appear to believe. At the extreme they can become ridiculous, hysterical and overly paranoid but that's a tendency with most marginalised movements anyway. Obviously, when this seeps into ideas of white supremacy they entirely lose any intellectual credibility but, at least with most of the people interviewed on the docs I saw, overt racism wasn't really evident at all.
|
mainstream media tries to focus solely on the people with overtly racial issues, but many of these militia men are really just fed up with the federal government and it's aggressionsa aginst it's own people.
