anna4

Not saying I'm bored, but I've noticed so far anna4 has only posted in two threads.

So, what do we know?

She likes Bjork for sure, which can only be a GOOD thing of course.

But, anna4, you've dipped your toes in the SY board water, so now's the time to venture out further into deeper waters. And I'm throwing you a rubber ring for safety, in the shape of your own thread.

So, anna4, go for it...

(dont scare her!)

Thanks for continuing with the metaphor, Nefeli.

I think I've scared her off already. She's completely avoided the Great White Shark that is this thread, and taken haven on a desert island of another thread.

Jump in anna4, the water feels good.

(A thought: do you think it might be Anna Ford?)

SynthethicalY 07.20.2007 02:59 AM

Ah, I fffelll bored, my not making sense, think I am tired. OOOOOOOH soNIc Ytuoh tomorroq.

anna4 07.20.2007 03:08 AM

Well well well.. :)
Hello!
And you're right, i'm not english, though that's not a problem. I'm portuguese as i said on the introductions thread :p

Pookie 07.20.2007 03:13 AM

AAAAhhhh, my favourite nationality.

Portuguese facts:

Number 1) The Portuguese art of pastry has its origins in ancient recipes of which pastéis de Belém from Lisbon, and ovos-moles from Aveiro are good examples.

More later.

No, I've heard it's a poor man's Spain. Any truth in this?

sonicl 07.20.2007 03:24 AM

Pookie! That's not very friendly.

Pookie 07.20.2007 03:27 AM

I'M ONLY SAYING WHAT I HEARD!

Anyway, me and anna4 are like that now (imagine me crossing my fingers).

sonicl 07.20.2007 03:29 AM

Well I've heard that Portugal is a very nice place and that the Portuguese are very nice people.

Pookie 07.20.2007 03:33 AM

You're determined to stay at the top eh, rep king?

Even if it means sacrificing any dignity that you have left (can't find appropriate smiley).

sonicl 07.20.2007 03:39 AM

Can I just point out that you've scared anna4 off now?

And I'd better go too, I have lots of work to do.

PS - I can see why Hip Priest didn't want to play with you the other day.

Chris Habib pays Pookie, Nefeli, Porky and me $40 an hour to post on here, just to make it seem like an exciting and popular board.

I've only been once, to the Algarve, but I've heard lots of good things said about Lisbon, and I'd like to go there.

He pays you more because he saw the way you dress and thought you could use the extra money.

sonicl 07.20.2007 04:28 AM

Anyway, getting back on topic, whereabouts on the Algarve are you, Anna4? We stayed at Quarteira when I went, but we visited quite a number of other places and they all seemed very nice. That was over twenty years ago though, so they've probably changed a lot since!

_slavo_ 07.20.2007 04:32 AM

Oh, damn, you're in the higher pay rate scheme! I knew it !!!

I'm only getting 6.50$ an hour and this on a monthly basis:

I live in a small town called Lagos. Have you been here?

jon boy 07.20.2007 04:59 AM

i once talked to a guy from portugal, he stole my beer and kicked my ass.

anna4 07.20.2007 05:07 AM

Hey, we better stop talking about Portugal.

I think so, yes, but I can't remember for sure.

Unfortunately the thing that I remember the most clearly from holidaying on the Algarve is stepping on a fish with poisonous spines (a weaver fish, I think) and having a very sore foot for the rest of the week.

One of my friends has recently bought a place on the Algarve (I don't know where), and I'm hoping that she will let my girlfriend and I use it some time.

No, it's cool. I'm not sure that's it's a place we've ever talked about.

You'll soon learn that we're all pretty happy to chat away about just about anything on here, that's part of why it's such an addictive place.

I saw the Sugarcubes, in 1989.

pbradley 07.20.2007 06:09 AM

My roommate just got back from spending a semester in Spain. I should ask him if he travel into Portugal. I would wager he did.
