i didn't expect to be in town again but my grandparents 40th wedding anniversary is tomorrow and they're having a huge party with the whole family and my mom called me last week and told me how bummed they would be if i didn't come etc etc so i sort of felt an obligation. it will be nice to see members of my family i haven't seen in a long time because even if they are completely nutty i totally love them.

I'm quite okay. The excitement and dread of school starting soon hasn't quite taken over.

I have been busy, thinking of my plot to take over the world. So far my efforts are fruitless.

Well, we've been together for 19+ years. We didn't get married for about 7 years into our relationship, but as we were living together anyway it really didn't make much difference and I won't discount those 7 years just because we weren't "legal" at the time...
I don't know if it's the hardest thing I've ever done. We get along so well most of the time that it really doesn't feel like "work" to me, though we've certainly had some big fights like everybody does. It's certainly something I'm pleased has lasted. I think not having any kids has helped a lot.

hardcore. me and my mom traded cameras so she's got my crap digital and i have her old one from back in the day. i was going down to abc no rio a lot and developing them myself but i got a job so i don't have too much time for that.

probably the lack of internet helps with that! post us some pictures if/when you can.

on that note, i should get back to work-- i hope you stick around until lunchtime (it's 1130 here, but i just had breakfast).

don't worry, i'm here for another three days....i told my mom i'd skip out on coming to visit for her birthday but compensate by staying longer on this visit and that she could just come stay in my apartment or something if she wanted. she hasn't seen it yet...i don't think she's ever been to new york either cause my dad is the one who took me when i was little.
