having a nostalgia day today so tell us about the 1st date you ever had.

i'm not sure i've ever really been on a proper date.

I'm not sure of the details any longer, but back then we could grab our women by their hair and drag them back to the cave.

it was his 13th birthday and i was 12,i bought him a card that said "happy birthday Tracy" and crossed out the Tracy and wrote Dan, he didn't get the joke, i thought it was funny. I had my first kiss that day,it wasn't great.

Terrible.

So late, didn't have time to shave. Hands still greasy from a day in the garage. Egg stain down an unwashed shirt.

I, on the other hand, looked great.


That was a joke, based on you thinking that I was talking about myself, but I was really talking about my girl. Although the girl isn't real, I just made her up for the purposes of the joke.

Well, my first date was horrible.

Popcorn/milk dud breath and pre-teen kisses at a matinee. Those were the days.

I don't remember. She asked me out and I think I went to her place and saw a movie or two. Nothing special, it was very boring. The whole relationship was, and for 8 months.

i got set up with an awful blind date, though; babysitting kids probably doesn't count as a date.

You know what you remind me of? Bad standup comics. It's probably all the cliché jokes.

And I've only had a couple

we went to the cinema and kissed until i banged my teeth on her braces. she was quite nice though but years later had me beaten to a bloody pulp.

Never been on one. Unless you count meeting up then directly to the room.

went to the mall and walked around in silence for two hours with a girlfriend of mine in tow. i've been dating the guy for three years, so i guess i did something right.

i was 13, she was 14
there was another couple with us
my friend and i walked over to her house, where the girls were at
her parents were gone for the day, so we stole/took her parents car to the movies
snuck into Blow
we kissed (she was my 3rd, I thought I was so awesome... I wasn't)
went back to her house and raided her parents bar
her parents came home around 9:30
caught all of us drunk and making out
called our parents
etc.etc.etc.

I think we just ran around the mall being typical young teenager hooligans. Good times.

Same here. Maybe because when I see it heading in that direction (of actually going on "proper dates") I break it off immediately with the person.

I mean, I wouldn't actually want to sit down to dinner with any of these people.

my first "date" of sorts never happened, because i didnt show. it wasn't really a "date", it was like this: one night very drunk, i was 15, i ended up making out with this girl. not sure how it started. anyway when we said goodbye we said let's go to the movies tomorrow. but the next day, mildy hangover and without the rum goggles, i wasn't so sure, so i tried to call her with some excuse, but nobody answered her phone, so i went to the movies early, but then left before it was time to meet her. that makes me a bit of a rat i suppose, but i blame it on the liquor demon, which makes us do strange things. i never saw her again, and i forgive myself.

Nerve-wrecking. We caught a bus and went ice skating. It was a Saterday afternoon and I was 13.
We had fun, but I dumped her that same day.

went and saw a.i.. i was uh.. 15... we saw it.. talked.. it was great.. we hugged.. that was it.. next week, we went on another date. we still weren't officially "Together" yet.. we went to see some stupid movie but snuck into scary movie 2.. it sucked so we went outside and layed out in the grass and talked for hours.. i snuck a kiss.. it was nice..
