It's annoying getting called "emo" every day, especially when you're not a part of the whole scene. I like the fashion style, but really emo is just a music genre based of Hardcore Punk. I'm doing a whole essay on it in Critical Thinking class. However, I really dislike the people who complain about their lives and how miserable they are when there's really no reason to.

What the fuck is EMO anyway?? I remember a friend of mine describing Piebald to me as "EMO" like 7 years ago...I don't think that is the way the term is used today though, right?

Haha! At a local (closed down) venue where I live they kept on putting on punk vs. emo nights. There was about 5 times more emos then punks. So luckily no fights. But there is alot of hostility towards them. I honestly don't care. They're too young and skinny to beat up anyway.

"emo" is a bullshit term that doesn't mean much of anything, it's just a new wave to be an asshole and make people feel bad, yeah sure it's a stupid fad but these kids are hurting anyone and they aren't about to co-op sonic so try not to hate so much. I know allot of it is funny, which is fine, but the random messages of hate towards the most being sub-culture since Donovon fans just doesn't make sense to me. Oh and "emo" grew from bands like Rites of Spring, and Nation of Ulysses so......
