Who would you like to see curate an ATP festival?
 

Inspired by batreleaser asking how on earth ATP pick their curators...


Probably no-one would want to go, but I'd love to see an ATP curated by the folks who run the Table Of the Elements label.

In my heart I also want to say Julian Cope, but, despite my huge love and respect for the guy, I have a fear that it would be utter tripe.

Joe Coleman or Peter Chistopherson or Mark Pauline or Crispin Glover.

Beck would be interesting, considering his huge array of friends and fans in the business. We'd see a little Willy Mason and Two Gallants, methinks..

I'm adding Justin Broadrick to my list. He spans quite a number of genres just on his own, so I'm guessing he could put together a pretty ecletic line-up from out of his own tastes.

on a side note, atp hasnt always chosen bad curators, but a few have been suspect at best

oh yeah, and aaron turner (isis/old man gloom) would be great too, and jacob bannon, and melt bananna, and david bowie (30 years ago circa-low), and damo suzuki

a load records atp would be intense i think if a label would be possible. they have some of the most unsettling, noisy, creative, and interesting bands going right now
