Well, I began puberty at age 11 and I consider myself normal and girls can generally enter puberty earlier than guys. It takes some people less time to enter puberty, some people more time. So if some people don't hit puberty until 16, I see it as completely possible for the opposite.

Well, she'd be 25 at that point. Although I don't think I'd want a stepson my same age. I'm much rather date a 25 year old with a 2 year old.

I'm sure that 5 year old girl's kid was probably raised by her parents, so although she is the mother, they would be more like brother and sister in relationship. Sort of like that movie Digging For China with Kevin Bacon.

I've read about thatstory - from what I recall, the girl was from Peru, and it was sometime in the 1930's. I think she had started to develop sexually at an abnormally young age, and I think that the child (a boy) found out when he was about ten years old. Up to then, he had indeed thought of the mother as his sister. He died quite young (early forties?) but I don't know what of.

When thinking of 5 year old parents, I was thinking it would be interesting to see a society where 5 years old is a normal age to become parents, and so people would know quite a lot about their bloodline, because there would be so many generations alive at once.

Hopefully that 5 year old girl that holds the record was consenting with a similar aged boy early to puberty boy. If she was raped that is really sad :(.

But in american society, having a mother 5 years older than you wouldn't really work. You'd want to think of her as a mother, but would have a sister relationship with her, and once she was old enough to truly mother you, you wouldn't need any mothering anymore.
