Sorry, no idea. But later period, 90's on, Gabriel, is what it sounds like to me. Wow, he's been around a long time.

did a search on google for Peter Gabriel and some of the lyrics from the clip, and found nothing. Looked through songs from his albums from 1990's onwards on itunes and none of them are the song either.
It does sound like Peter Gabriel, but now i don't think that it is. But someone on here has to know what it is!! |

man you really wanna know huh? i know yr pain though... i remember it once took me from middle school up too about 2 months ago (i'm 27 now!) to figure out a certain song. turned out it was policy of truth by depeche mode. can't stand that band but i love that song.

i have looked, and no they don't.
There is a website called outpost-daria that have full track information for every episode, but when they released the videos they took out all of the original songs and replaced them with new ones. |

yeah, people from the daria sites seem to be able to communicate with the creators of the show on a regular basis, so i might try doing that.
