It's bedtime.
As a courtesy, please check into this thread and sign out when you're heading to bed. It's late. I recommend we all go to bed now and get some restorative sleep.

I want to go to bed, but its daytime. This morning I woke up at 5 20. : /
and nanna naps make me feel more drowsy.. |
errmmm i think goodbye threads are stupid. always have.
the point of a messageboard is that you can leave... and come back ... at your leisure... and it's all right where you left it. but yeah... goodnight. |
Please be courteous to others.

i'm really ill. i might be getting the flu. actually, logically it could be a lot of things. |
Quote:
i had my fever at the end of a crummy day yesterday, but took a lot of chinese herbs and vitamin c and stayed in bed & slept & woke up & slept some more and i'm fine today. |
i just took my temperature and it's 102.5
i feel like shit but i'll be ok. my nasal cavities hurt like a bitch though and the lymph nodes in my neck are swollen up to about the size of a damn golf ball (needless to say they hurt a whole lot to touch) my skin is very sensitive to the touch too it's times like this when health insurance woul dbe handy |
Quote:
nah. health insurance is cack. you get sicker at the waiting room. instead send the boy out for YIN CHIAO. while you can. take it every hour or 2 for the first 24h. and vitamin c (buffered so as to not get the shits). then eat a big cheese pizza and go to sleep. sleep seep sleep. drink liquids (OJ, grapefruit). let your immune system do the work. vitamin c, chinese herbs, & sleep. stay indoors & do not exert yourself or you'll pay. |
he's sick too! he's the one who got me sick, the bastard.
i would be paying so much for health insurance b/c of the smoking and drinking and whatnot. |

social diseases are fun. anyway im sure theres chinese stores in the lower east side or wherever it is you are. maybe they'll deliver? but im sure you have minions. send one. anyway if not just sleep it off good and avoid smoking -- gum? patch? just until your lungs recover from the virus. then resume as previously. |
i might add that i've got all of the symptoms of hepatitis, including dark urine (i've been drinking water so this makes little sense)
i'm going to be angry if i've got hepatitis and not the flu. HELL NO am i avoiding smoking - my jaw hurts, no gum chewing patches don't work for shit |
hep again?? maybe its just too much booze.
anyway take care of yourself cankers & get good bedrest. i read about some highschool athlete almost dying from the flu--- it's a strong one this season so dont underestimate. bedrest is #1 cure. gotta go & make a pizza. seeya. |
yeah but my pee! i called my mom this morning and she told me to drink a lot of water.
i didn't have hepatitis before i had the flu. although this time i am reasonably convinced after consulting the folks at wrongdiagnosis.com (which is an extemely helpful website) i combined all my symptoms and it said nothing about the flu. either viral or alcoholic hepatitis. |

peee pee peee peee peee peee go to a doctor then. go to one of those free clinics for indigents and immigrants. they are not at all bad, actually. http://www.med.nyu.edu/nycfreeclinic/ |
yes, my lungs hurted like shit back in november when i got bronchitis, i couldn't do squat for a month because of it. the flu is fucking hardcore this season.
get well, saturnine! |
Quote:
Out of curiosity, are the free clinics slow? Because all clinics are free here (unless you go to private sector and pay a huge amount) although we have to wait a good couple of hours before we get attended to. |
i go to the generic and similars pharmacy doctor, $20 pesos (like 2 u.s. bux) gives me a good check up and a honest opinion.
well yeah, nighty night people. |
Quote:
well sure you gotta sit around, but even in private hospitals you gotta sit around, emergency rooms you gotta sit around some people die waiting no joke. |
Quote:
Actually the private clinic sector in Canada generally has very little wait (if not none) because of the availability of free clinics, which are more preffered and more plentiful, but all depending on the area or urgency. I was wondering about the pace of service in the American health system |
the pace is crap wherever you go. even the best insurance... well no not really--- but emergency rooms are shit.
different in canada where you have univeral health care. here millions dont have anything-- it's shitty. |
good night folks
iv had my painkillers and am feeling nice but i dont think ill pull a heath ledger and not wake up tomorrow bye bye X |
