can't download this until i get power back at my house, we got whacked today w/ 60 mph winds and snow it knocked out power and my house is cold as ice, while its blizzard-like outside.

whoah... it sounds really good.. i was wondering if they cut any songs from it.. was anyone at this show? it was the only nyc show from thurston's trees shows that i missed :\

got heat back much later than expected, the temp in the house dropped to at least 40 degrees F, so not knowing when the power would return i had to turn the faucets in the house on to a trickle as a precaution so the pipes don't freeze and then burst under pressure... now that would SUCK!


anyways, not really into buying itunes albums, but this one isn't bad at all for $8 because the sound quality is really good, soundboard. the performances for the "outside of the academy" tracks are quite good especially Honest James, which has Steve playing drums, the "Psychic Hearts" songs are only ok as the guitars sound slightly out of tune.

eh ok, whatever... sarcasm never relays well on the web. sorry.

Thurston Moore's Live from Soho is only available in the US Itunes Store. Do you think if a release is planned in another Itunes Store ?

i gave in and bought this from Itunes, since i couldnt find a download of it anywhere. the only download i found was in the weird m4p itunes format and i couldnt listen. so i bought it , burned it to a cd, and then ripped them back on my PC as WAVS. if anyone is interested and doesnt feel like payin $8 for this, let me know,ill throw it up on soulseek...although it really is worth the $8.......he also ends the set with 3 songs off psychic hearts..thats what made me give in and get it

overcoming such limitations shouldn't be the point of an online thing? but, in this "real" world, maybe it's a matter of rights of distributions and stuff, I guess. Still, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???
