Frickin' awesome! Beck is such a cool dude. He has great taste in music. Having Flaming Lips back him up on tour was just another plus in my book.

that really is awesome, you should also soulseek and see if anyone recorded the version he did w/Sonic Youth themselves, where he apperantly accompanied them on harmonica, the whole 20 minute epic, my mouth drools just thinking about it. I have a version of Beck doing the Diamond Sea but unfortunately he doesn't sing on it. I've got a heap of Beck stuff to wade through so I may have that version somewhere. The version I have is very short and only has guitar and harmonica but if anyone wants me to upload it just tell me where to do it.

the flaminng lips bashed beck in the press awhile ago. wayne called beck a rock star in the worst sense. maybe he was just [poking fun i dont know

i would sure hope so. they sounded like buds in thee interviews i've heard them do together. i know beck's very sarcastic hopefully that was a sarcastic statement

im assuming beck just kinda did it on the spot

yeah it was just a short thing he did to segue between the stages. I think he came on after them and played that at the start of his set and then went on with his own material. Then at the end he did some beat box thing with the Beastie Boys.

yeah you're right, the Summersault Festival in Australia was where he did the jam with the Beastie Boys and he also played the Diamond Sea.

the song suits beck's style..
he should do it for real on his next album..

Yes, Beck is a Scientologist. It really surprised me the first time I heard that. It dissapointed me. I have always really liked his music. To find out that he's in a manipulative cult like Scientology really hurt. But so many famous people are starting to become Scientologists nowadays. The cult is going after the celebrities in ascheme to recruit more average people.
