Lust For Life is my favourite Iggy Pop album.

This reminds me I need to get more Bowie albums. Any recomendations? I have earthling, and the man who sold the world.

Low starts out really good but trails off.

Seriously though, David Bowie didn't just produce Lust For Life, he wrote a lot of the songs with Iggy as well.

I suggest you get Ziggy Stardust, Diamond Dogs, and Station to Station to start

I'm not sure if you're talking about the production itself (which is very good) or the album being the best album Bowie's been involved with. If it's the latter, I strongly disagree, solely because Turn Blue is one of the shittiest songs I've ever heard.

the berlin trilogy, as cliched it is to say, is bowie's most creative stint of music.

Backing vocals are hardly a major contribution to one's album unless you are Madonna.

Sweet Thing-Candidate-Reprise is the greatest medley ever and We Are the Dead is an awesome song

I always fall asleep in the middle of Rebel Rebel whenever I listen to Diamond Dogs. It's really fucking odd. I think it's most definitely the weakest of his 70's material, but it still has a few worthwhile moments.
